I’m a British artist based in London, with a fascination for all things floral, ethereal and otherworldly.

Drawing inspiration from mythology, imagination and my love of the natural world, my work explores the power of self-discovery and our deep-rooted desire to understand our connection to the world around us. Through my art, I explore my fascination with all things floral, ethereal and otherworldly. Drawing inspiration from mythology and my love of the natural world, many of my pieces explore the power of self-discovery and our deep-rooted desire to find connection with the wild world around us.

I have always loved to paint, but my interest in ancient history initially took me down a different career path, so for a little while, I worked as a Heritage Consultant in London. As part of this job, I spent a lot of time exploring historic places such as burial sites and botanic gardens whilst also being exposed to many different types of architectural budlings. These places turned out to be huge sources of artistic inspiration for me and I spent many evenings sketching the elaborate architectural motifs, statues and beautiful flowers that had crossed my path.

A couple of years later, after obsessing over the idea of becoming an artist, I made the decision to go back to studying Fine Art, wanting to specifically develop skills in human figure drawing and floral subjects.  To start off my new journey, I travelled to the US to begin my studies, and surrounded by desert mountains and the glowing sunsets of Arizona I developed a love of oil painting. I am currently continuing my studies in classical drawing and painting techniques back in London.

I enjoy working in multiple mediums, including oil paint, charcoal and watercolour, and love combining more classical styles of painting with a contemporary twist. I use light and shifts in colour to create a sense of drama and atmosphere in my pieces, crafting the illusion that my subjects are emerging from their surroundings.

In front of the frame, there is a small gold candle holder with three lit tealight candles shaped like bird feet, on a round table. In the background, there are dried flower and plant arrangements on the left, and a window with curtains on the right.
